What is the 30-Day Home Trial?
The Home Trial allows eligible customers to purchase an MB3 or MB3-X, receive it and reasonably evaluate it for up to 30 calendar days.
You may test the speaker using your own:
* Voice;
* Microphones;
* Musical instruments;
* Backing tracks;
* Bluetooth audio;
* Compatible source equipment;
* Home, studio, classroom, rehearsal room or appropriate performance space.
This allows you to make a decision based on your own equipment and environment rather than relying only on specifications or online videos.
Where is the Home Trial currently available?
The 30-Day MB3 and MB3-X Home Trial is currently available for eligible orders delivered within:
* Malaysia;
* The Philippines;
* Vietnam.
It applies only when the Home Trial offer is displayed on the relevant product page at the time of purchase.
BETA THREE may evaluate or introduce similar programs in selected markets in the future. Availability and terms may vary by country.
When does the 30-Day Home Trial begin?
For prepaid orders, the Home Trial begins on the recorded delivery date.
For Cash on Delivery orders, the Home Trial begins after the order has been:
* Successfully delivered;
* Accepted by the customer;
* Fully paid for.
Refusing an unopened Cash on Delivery parcel at the door is not considered a Home Trial return because the order was not accepted or paid for.
Does the 30-Day Home Trial apply to MB3 setups and bundles?
Yes, when the selected setup is identified as eligible for the Home Trial on the product page.
To receive a complete refund for a setup or bundle, all included products must be returned together, including:
* Speakers;
* Speaker stands;
* Carry bags;
* Cables;
* Accessories;
* Promotional gifts;
* Other included items.
Missing items may be deducted from the refund where permitted by law.
Can I compare MB3 with another speaker during the Home Trial?
Yes.
You may reasonably compare MB3 or MB3-X with another speaker using:
* The same microphone;
* The same instrument;
* The same playback material;
* Similar volume levels;
* The same room or listening position.
The Home Trial is intended to help you make an informed product decision.
The product must still be handled carefully and returned in eligible condition if you decide not to keep it.
Can I use MB3 at a rehearsal or real performance during the Home Trial?
Reasonable real-world evaluation is permitted.
This may include testing the product in:
* A rehearsal;
* A classroom;
* A studio;
* A café sound check;
* An appropriate small performance environment.
The Home Trial does not permit using the product primarily as free rental equipment or for repeated commercial events before returning it.
Commercial rental, excessive paid-event use, deliberate abuse and unreasonable wear are not covered.
What happens if MB3 is not right for my setup?
Contact BETA THREE within 30 calendar days of delivery to request a Home Trial return.
For an approved return because the product does not suit your preferences or setup:
* You are responsible for return shipping;
* No restocking fee will apply;
* The product amount actually paid will be refunded after the return is received and inspected;
* The return must follow BETA THREE’s approved instructions;
* The product must meet the applicable return-condition requirements.
Contact us before sending the product. Returns sent without authorization may be delayed or rejected.
Who pays the return shipping during the Home Trial?
If you return MB3 or MB3-X because it does not suit your preferences, sound expectations, equipment or intended setup, you are responsible for return shipping.
You may:
* Use an approved trackable courier at your own cost; or
* Ask BETA THREE to help arrange local collection where available.
If BETA THREE arranges collection, the approved return shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
BETA THREE will arrange or cover reasonable approved return shipping when we confirm that:
* The wrong product was delivered;
* The product was damaged during delivery;
* The product has a covered manufacturing defect;
* The return is required because of an error by BETA THREE.
Do I need to keep the original packaging?
Yes.
Keep the following throughout the Home Trial:
* Original outer carton;
* Internal protective packaging;
* Manuals;
* Cables;
* Accessories;
* Included components;
* Bundle items;
* Promotional gifts.
The original packaging helps protect the speaker during return transportation.
A product or setup must normally be returned complete to qualify for a complete refund.
What condition must the product be in when returned?
The product must be returned:
* In good physical and functional condition;
* Clean and free from excessive wear;
* With the original packaging;
* With all accessories, cables, manuals and included items;
* With the original serial number intact;
* Without material damage caused by misuse or accidents.
Minor signs resulting from careful setup and reasonable evaluation will not automatically make an otherwise eligible return unacceptable.
The Home Trial does not cover:
* Drops or impacts;
* Serious scratches or dents;
* Liquid or rain damage;
* Unauthorized repair or modification;
* Missing items;
* Commercial rental;
* Excessive repeated event use;
* Serial-number alteration;
* Deliberate abuse.
How much will I be refunded?
For an approved Home Trial return, the refund is based on the eligible product amount actually paid.
For example, if you used a promotional discount, the refund will equal the discounted product amount paid—not the original price before the discount.
The following are not normally refundable for a change-of-mind Home Trial return:
* Customer-paid return shipping;
* Return collection costs deducted from the refund;
* Optional expedited delivery;
* Separately disclosed Cash on Delivery charges;
* Other optional services.
No restocking fee will be charged for an eligible Home Trial return.
How will I receive a refund if I paid by Cash on Delivery?
Cash collected by the courier cannot normally be refunded through the original cash channel.
After the return has been received, inspected and approved, the refund will normally be issued by:
* Local bank transfer;
* A supported electronic wallet;
* Another refund method approved by BETA THREE.
You may need to provide:
* Your order number;
* Account-holder name;
* Local bank account or supported e-wallet details;
* Reasonable information needed to verify the refund recipient.
The refund account should normally belong to the customer named on the order.
How long does a refund take?
BETA THREE will inspect the product after it is received.
Once the return has been approved, we normally process the refund within five business days.
Banks, card issuers and electronic-wallet providers may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.
Incomplete or incorrect refund details may delay Cash on Delivery refunds.
